Hi to all!
At last I have adjusted VoIP. I was connected to VoIP provider Rynga.com Perfectly works.
Now at me 3 more questions:
1. What for the button on a forward part with drawing Wireless?
2. How it is possible to make backup my settings of  router?
3 .Sometimes happen disconnect from ISP. I do not understand for what reason.
Thanks!

Rik

1) It's to allow you to give people access to your network without having to enter a password. I don't think any of us have got it to work.

2) Afaik you can't with a 2700.

3) I don't know the telecomms companies in your countries, but here a loss of synchronisation, the top of the bottom pair of green/red LEDs would indicate noise on the line causing the router to disconnect and connect afresh (resync as we generally refer to it). If the bottom of the two lights goes out or turns red, the authentication between you and your ISP has failed, or your router is unable to establish a PPP session, usually due to a fault in the telecomms company's network.

Why this problem? From the provider? From modem options? From my telephone line?

Rik

In the UK, I would say it's your phone line - unfortunately, I can't be more precise because I don't know your local telecoms environment. Check that you have no unfiltered devices connected to the line, eg phones.

As Rik says we really don't know about your local telecoms systems.

All I can say is that with those attenuation figures in the UK you would expect a much faster and stable connection.
Check your phone connections as advised by Rik.

Bazru

I have checked up telephone line. My phone is connected through DSL filter, I even have changed the filter (just in case)
Sometimes long works without disconnects, and sometimes disconnects happen often.

Rik

Sounds like a bad line then. If you're running Windows, get hold of a copy of Routerstats and run that, the graphs will give us a better idea of what's going on:

Today since the morning I had a new problem:
My router reboots in itself - since the morning it has rebooted 6 times. And yesterday all the day long worked normally.

Rik

It looks like the firmware trying to update itself, I get logs full of that stuff.

Re-booted as if you had killed the power? If that's the case, you probably have a dying power supply, they're a weak point with the 2700.

Bazru

How completely kill program updating?
Means  me it is necessary to buy the new power unit.... Ohhhh.....

pctech

You cant stop it trying to update itself. you can only set the address to a non existent one

Rik

What firmware are you on? The Tripod site will tell you how to do it for your version, though it looks to me as if it's already safely blocked.

If you see the router shut down completely, ie the power light goes off and then comes back on, check that the power lead is fully inserted, but if it is, chances are it's failing and you will need to get your hands on a new one. I've had a couple fail so far.

QuoteImpulse Noise Comp. Tones: 89 Suspicious - impulse noise detected
That's bad news! it's usually caused by external electrical/radio interference being present on the ADSL line.

Bazru

I have such router:
Model: BT2700HGV
Serial Number: 520611xxxxxx
Hardware Version: 2701-100588-005
Software Version: 5.29.107.19
Key Code: 528Y-27G4-A222-22BJ-B22V
Enhanced Services: Internet Access Control
Content Screening
Firewall Monitor

On one method I have made so:
In section:    Advanced – DNS Name table
I have filled:
DNS name                                        IP Address            Entry Type
cwmp.cms.smehomehubrms.bt.com        10.0.0.0            User added

I think it enough for blocking of updating of firmware?

Dear Rik! Tell where it is possible to order the power unit for this router?
Thanks to All!

Glenn

Are you using a UK PSU at the moment? If so then you be able to get one here http://www.digidave.co.uk/jshop/product.php?xProd=357 I don't know if they ship overseas though.

What Glenn said, Bazru. I'm also wondering whether a UK spec 2700 is suitable for your country?

No , changing the DNS lookup table will not block firmware upgrades.
You need to change the ACS URL as described here http://bt2700hgv.tripod.com/032.htm

Bazru

I chanced it to:
acs_url   https://gw-5-29-117.cwmp.cms.2wire.com

Bazru

And still it seemed to me after I have put wireless = mode B only
Were gone disconnects
It can is temporary?

Rik

If the disconnections have stopped, your phone company may have been working on the line and have now completed the work.
