Will IDNet be offering (as last year) the ability to pre-pay for a year's service before the VAT increase comes in?

pctech

I'd assume so as you can prepay for your service anytime.

You mean you don't pay it by DD?

Rik

Yup. I've got the invoice, they'll take the money. ;D

I pay by credit card (not CCA) as I then get the cashback or points depending on which card I use.

I have phoned idnet and extended mine for next year. I have also done this on lovefilms site as well which gave me two months free  :thumb:

Plusnet :P

Rik

It's well worth it if you can, especially with interest rates as low as they are, Rich. :)

I did think about doing it but would be a bit much to find just now.

Rik

Shame. I always take great pleasure in not giving money to the Govt. ;)

Hi Rik, I pay for my BB package to Idnet monthly by DD, now i think i will switch to annual billing for 2011 and save a bob or two.    Will i have to  phone Idnet to have them make the change?   :thumb:

Hi Brian

I've just set this up for you: your next invoice will cover 12 months for the price of 11.

Rik

Now that's what I call service.  :)

Steve

Just to point out my mathematically ability >:D

The 2.5% VAT increase from 17.5% to 20% means the actually cost of any goods should rise by 2.1%

Glenn

So the shops will take opportunity to hike the price by 3%?

I agree It would be a good time to hide a price hike.

Perhaps 4th January will be 'a good day to bury bad news' too.

Rik

They'll hide it in the sales, initially. We'll really see what's happening after that.

Recieved two invoice emails this morning from IDnet.  One confirming  DD annual billing has been set up and the other a rebate on a monthly payment i've just paid in advance, i think,  anyway, well done, sorted to satisfaction.  Thanks again Simon and IDnet.  :thumb:
