According to this on AG we're not that far off P2P-distributed BBC content. As the article details an hour a night will equate to about 2Gb a month...apparently accounting for between 70 & 80% of the UK BB public's usage limit !

Seeing as we don't get charged for uploads - if there was something of genuine interest to me - I would consider using this but I was wondering - what are the implications for IDNet if all us monkeys go on there and start sharing segments of the last 2 years' Top Gear or something !!!?

It won't cost us anything but what's going to happen to IDNet when their bandwidth bill hits the mat 'so to speak' !?  ;D

I am looking forward to this , i have plenty of my 30GB left every month so i will get the maximum use out of it.

It cant come fast enough for me its taken ages  :'(

Well that's probably a fair challenge however as those of us who've migrated in from a 'certain ISP who's name shall never be uttered in my presence' can testify....it's all about how you manage the transition and communicate the impact and nature of the changes. I'd bet any changes that had to be done by IDNet would be done in a radically different manner to my prev. ISP.
