Hands up those that knew Flash Player stored persistent cookies for months/years at a time and sharfed that info with other sites?

We all use cookie cleaners/CCleaner etc. but they do not touch these cookies set by Flash ( and apparently Google,YouTube,EBay )

I didn't know it until recently, but it didn't surprise me (Adobe, along with Apple, are utter control freaks).

I don't put Flash Player on anything I don't absolutely have to.

I'm sure one of the security programs I use removes something to do with flash. I cant say I'm overly bothered about it though as adblock normally stops mr from seeing things I don't want to anyway.

That being said? I'll have a nose at that add on. Ta :)

Yupp, been using this for quite some time now. It's amazing what it finds the first time you run it.

"puts hand up"
Seen the "control panel" for flash ages ago. Set it to "deny webcam and microphone" (Although I had no webcam). Who knows how easy it would be to setup farmville to have a secret video chat running while you are playing?

Then the next step is to deny cookies + saved data. Then the website/flash program will popup and ask "allow 1mb/10mb to save your settings?"
A few sites fail to use the popup, but as I have it denied by default, I can just right click the flash box, and set "allow for this site only".
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.
