Having recently experienced some problems as a result of BT's DLM I was looking for an escape to LLU.  I came across UK free software network (UKFSN) who appear to offer LLU broadband at a price which my usage justifies.  I can however find little about the quality of their service etc. etc. Any one know anything about them?

If you don't get much response here, try over on the ThinkBroadband forum, there will be plenty of customers there.

AFAIK UK Free Software Network are an Entanet reseller and a very small one at that. In fact I think I've read somewhere that they are or were a one man band.

http://www.ispreview.co.uk/talk/forumdisplay.php/388-UK-Free-Software-Network is one possible source for information.

They are indeed an Entanet reseller and it is a one man band that gives a very variable service , I well remember the reviews on a certain site which ranged from hero worship to WTF have I done joining here. Unless things have changed they do not even use phone contact.

Thanks for comments.  I had searched the ThinkBroadband site and found little of help. Always find IDNetters the most helpful (and tolerant ! ) site. I contacted UKFSN to check, only to eventually be advised that their LLU service is Cable & Wireless which is not available on my exchange.
