I recently reduced my IDNet phone package to line rental only but as we've now been getting quite a few weird sales calls I've bitten the bullet and taken up the current BT offer where you can pay 1 years line rental up front (£120 by credit or debit card) and get caller display for free.

So one less bill for a year.

Nothing bad to say about IDNet but need to make sure my money goes as far as possible.

voice line is a voice line and doesn't have broadband on that one so I should be ok  ;D

As long as your sure it's BT that phoned you, and not one of those pretend sellers.  :eek4:

I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

Why not just do the same with Idnet? I pay annually and also get caller ID free anyway. :)

Caller display has been free with BT since 2005, and is also free with IDNet provided you have a call package, obviously you don't need caller display with line only ;)

Line thats being transferred is used for voice calls so its useful.

Make sure you make at least two (chargeable) calls a month, or BT will slap on £5.20 for the Caller ID and other charges.

Happened to us last month... won't be with them in September.  ::)
