iOS 4.3.4 Software Update

Apparently this is purely to block the 4.3.3 jailbreak which has just emerged.

Looks that way, although from what I read the dodgy PDF files could cause other problems too.

Unless they wanted to come up with a different reason to defeating the jailbreak.

My iTunes still says the latest is 4.3.3.  I'm still on 4.1, but am tempted to update now there's a jailbreak for 4.3.3, however, will iTunes now look for and load 4.3.4 before I could stop it?

I think it may, you can always download (and not install) and see which version lands  or failing that copies of 4.3.3 will be around on the web

Obviously the above is not without risk and you need to save your SHSH blobs before you install a new iPhone IOS  from Apple otherwise you can't go back again.

I think I might leave it.  Should have done it sooner, but wanted to wait to see if the jailbreak worked OK.  Guess it's too late now.
