I don't know if I should jump up and down and cheer yet but this sounds great.

I'm on the Gresford exchange and this is the first I've heard of it.   ;D

Just found this

http://www.btplc.com/news/articles/showarticle.cfm?articleid=%7B108081d5-658a-4813-8aad-48f14b35fb8c%7D

So it is true, will I be able to access this through Idnet or will I have to take the offers from BT?   :dunno:

IDNet will be able to offer it to you, once it's available, Den.

But at what price? Will it be as cost effective as BT?
Mr Music Man.

Glenn

I just looked in the other thread with the PDF links, and it's got the north exchange on Grosvenor road set for 2012, Den. So some time next year we'll both have new problems :D

I don't know if I should jump up and down with joy for faster speeds or bury my head in gloom because my line is so stable.   :dunno:

I spoke to an engineer this morning, Den. They said Chester are having massive problems since they've had it as the cabinets can't handle the extra being forced through them and BT can't afford to upgrade everything to an acceptable standard. That's directly from a BT employee that works with it!

He also said people with fiber connected directly to the house rather than a cabinet, are seeing much lower speeds than they were on adsl2!

That's rather concerning!
