This is a first for me, after almost four years with IDNET. I appeared still to be in sync and logged on and had no log entries showing any re-sync or re-logon. LAN and WAN up times were about 56 and 36 days respectively. Logging off and on in the router made no difference and did not change the up times. Everything was OK with IDNET. Seemed not to be connected though everything looked OK. Rebooting the router fixed the problem. I wondered what was the causes?
:dunno:
Thx, Dave

Sounds like a router glitch. I had a Netgear which was always hanging and dropping connections.

Definitely sounds like PPP had dropped and you had a stale session. There's been a few BT fault reports today that could have caused it.

Thanks, Rik and Esh.
I often wondered what a stale session was. It's just BT taking the Ps.  :swoon:
