O2 giving out customers phone numbers

O2 UK is dishing out its customers' mobile numbers like free sweeties to every website they visit over a 3G connection.

More here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-16721338 there a script you can run half way down the page to see if your affected, not bothered myself as there's no chance of me using mobile internet with O2 at home.

I only use O2 3G when I'm out, and that's usually only to access here. so I'm not that worried.

Only started to use data since getting the ray and thats mostly been via Wi-Fi as my data add on doesn't come into effect until my next bill in Feb.

No 3G around here so not worried, also I don't leave the house that much and tend to use wifi at friends etc anyway.
