Hi guys, my fiancée recently moved house and there appears to be an inactive phone line connected to the property, she wants internet access so obviously as a longstanding happy customer I'm pointing her IDNets way for line rental and Interweb 

In short what would the best way to go about sorting things? I have no idea what company be it BT or someone else who had the line when it was active, the last time I checked reactivation was not cheap especially if the line had been unbundled, looking for a rough estimation of cost and if it is possible for IDNet to sort it out if they have the address of the house?

She will probably need to pay a reconnection fee as it involves Openreach physically reconnecting the line.

Best to get her to ring IDNet and give them the details of the property, they should then be able to advise on the charges.
