Hey guys, Last few days maybe last week or two i have been experiencing lag spikes when gaming... Lag shooting up to 400-500 , which is pretty unplayable when it happens. it only happens for 4/5 seconds, but this cycle repeats itself a lot.. Download speed seems quite low as well:

Its normally around 4/5 MB/s.

Any ideas?  :dunno:

Is it a wired or wireless connection?

It might be worth setting up a BQM if you haven't already done so: http://www.thinkbroadband.com/ping

You need to configure the router to respond to being pinged.

Also check nothing is updating in the background during the lag spikes. :P
It's an obvious one I know, but sometimes a cause.
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.
