Hi Guys,

I have upgraded from ADSL to ADSL2+ and this was due to have been completed by 18:00H yesterday, but checking my downloads there appears to be no difference at all. I still synch at 8064 (upload 448) download actual speed around 6.7mb, should I have noticed any difference so soon??? or am I being impatient!  :dunno:

Cheers

Paul,

Have you tried rebooting the router?

Thanks Glen,
Yes rebooted router once, but I read somewhere not to reboot too much because it will increase the line noise?. Just checked BT speedtester IP Profile is still 7.11Mbps and upload 0.45Mbps.

It doesn't look like BT made the switch for you then, unless someone has any other ideas, drop support an email or call them on Monday.

Thanks Glenn I'll drop them an email and see what happens.
So should I have noticed almost immediately then?

I believe normally once the changes are made, the connection drops and reconnects to ADSL2+ speeds for your line.

It appears that somebody in the exchange did not throw the switch to make the final connection.

All ok now and a massive improvement from the 6.7 - 7 Mbps I was getting, Thanks guys :thumb:
