:-\ Urgh so bored of what I have now

Gimme some "must haves" please  :D

zimmerframe

Secret of Monkey Island 1 & 2.

The original Half-LIfe

Deus Ex.  (but definately not  the second one, Invisible War.

I'm looking forward now to Crysis and Call of Duty 4

not sure there are any must haves....

and depends on what type of games you like...

i'm not really doing any online stuff atm so have looked for to replay some older games or play some games i've not played even though we own them !

hence started to play

Sim City 4 and bought the Rush Hour expansion pack.  enjoying this. needs a reasonable pc though.

Railroads - not been out long but we picked it up for a fiver a couple weeks ago and you can now buy it from the same pace for £2.99.  seems fun. and its got potential for lan / online play if you're so inclined. not sure of its longevity.

I'd like to buy Medievel Total War II if i can find it cheap......totally loved Shogun and Medievel I but did not take to Rome at all.

I even like the look of Ghost Recon Warfighter 2 thats due out in early july. only £17.99 on pre order to which seems cheap.

If i still had a decent FF steering wheel i'd even conisder the new Colin Mc game for £17.99. although i sorta think these days a console does do almost better for racing games. esp if you have a decent size tv.

i also must play Silent Hunter 3 - given i installed it months ago and have never played it....infact SH4 is out now to !

so really depends on what you like.....but i'd deffo say have a look at games of the past year or so you missed getting and see how cheap they are now.....

Well I like games where you feel you have achieved something through team work

I did have medieval 2...dont know where it is now  :D

Sim city 4 - havent tried that

Didnt like ghost recon or racing games (flatout 2 is brill)

RTS games such as cnc 3 are good for a bit, i do get bored tho

A pc with a blank hard disk and a Linux Distro Cd is a good game. It's part adventure game, part puzzle with plenty of problem solving. There is a big online aspect to the game in finding info from the wider community and a tremendous sense of achievement when it all works

Supanova

lol at RobMc.

If you have Origional halflife there is a Mod available called Natural Selection. Its totally free and uses the halflife engine (like counterstrike does) to create a new game that has a FPS starcrafty feel to it :/  . Its pretty good, at least for a while. Havnt had much time to test it yet.

Natural Selection runs through Steam and has a very large following of fans. costs nothing....worth a shot :p

It's a 'free to use' highly modable online racing simulator, at www.rfactor.net, there is a basic demo available with a few generic cars and a Sauber F1 car. www.rfactorcentral.com is the main resource for mods and tracks available and www.rscnet.org is the main racing sim site, covering past and present games.

I currently race online with fellow drivers from all over the world. This afternoon for instance, I'm sharing a car with 2 other drivers in a 6hr endurance race, driving a Corvette C6 against 38 other cars, with inexcess of 120 drivers from around the world.

Sounds good!  - So i take it the basic demo is all you need? not the "unlocked" - as they call it, version?

Might try it later, perhaps we could have a race or something sometime? :)

EDIT: http://www.rfactor.net/index.php?page=downloads assume its the Full inc trail/demo?
