It's damn near impossible to browse. Even Google Earth seems to be shafted.

Edit it looks like it might be a general connectivity issue:

My modem says my connection has been up 1 day 16 hours (DLM put interleaving on yesterday morning).

I was having DNS problems a few minutes ago, and traceroutes were getting stuck in telehouse.

I restarted my router and all seems well again.

Doesn't look widespread:

But a couple of the IDnet FTTC graphs show the same glitch as mine.

I just lost web connectivity but didn't lose sync. I had to reconnect to fix.

I can only access the forum and idnet.net websites, everything else just hangs and doesn't load.

That's the strange IDNet magic at work. I love that. :)
Now to get the rest of the UK working like it does!
I use to have a signature, then it all changed to chip and pin.

Just checked on my phone using 3G and my Thinkbroadband graph shows the same blip, I'm going to try a router/modem reboot, I'll report back shortly  :fingers:

I'm back!!

The reboot has done the trick, so anyone else having problems its worth rebooting your router and or modem  :thumb:

Steve

I've just rebooted and things have improved, I wonder if a host link is playing up again although we should automatically fall over to the other one.

I thought things were a little slow earlier, but I seem to be browsing at normal speed now, without rebooting.  :dunno:

I experienced severe problems this morning when ten minutes into my session I kept getting "unable to connect to internet" messages.  All the lights on my Netgear router were lit correctly.  It took two reboots of the router before I could get back online.

Mine seems fine now. I didn't reboot anything. Just swore at my laptop - it knows I mean it

It was a close run thing, less than 2 minutes in it I think :)
