Just wanting to look at my emails and Thunderbird's asking if I want to give IDNet a certificate/security exception. Ideas? Edit to say: I do need a new certificate.

Simon

I had that as well this morning.  We've had it before, and it usually means they've changed / renewed the certificate.  Have to admit, I just accepted it, but I guess the advice should be to check with IDNet.

Same here - I'm pretty sure this comes up every time they renew - I've added permanent exceptions in the past, but up to now this time, I have been ticking "this session only".

As it seems to happen every year, I wouldn't be overly concerned about it, but it would be nice if the guys would get things sorted - it's not the sort of thing I expect from them, tbh. It's these things that sets them apart.

Usually  :P

I did check with IDNet and the advice was that I should accept the exception so I did.

Hi,

The certificate was renewed a few days ago so the server is likely to have sent you a new one and can just be accepted.
