has google changed how the image page displays now. If I search on google images for something the results have a scrollable bar at the top with different categories of your search

I have that too Baz, images with arrows at each end so you can scroll at the very top of the page. Must be trying something new

Yes. The page now has a 'related search' portion at the top which scrolls if you are viewing on a small vdu

My monitor/iMac is 21.5" guess that's small these days.

yeah thats it.How do you find it? annoying like I did or do you just skip past it haha.

I tried to find some way to kill it but haven't found any thing yet
