Time for another scheduled maintenance evening maybe?
Damned, if you do damned if you don't

Had a look at the router log... slightly odd?

The link went down at about half past midnight, but was back up again a few minutes later. The BQMs show two longer problems on IPv4 and a single, but much longer, problem on IPv6, neither of which are reflected in the log.

Would this be the "... some destinations may be briefly disrupted ..." (tbb in this case) mentioned in the announcement?

I had some oddities last night about 1am, I could not reach any Apple forums or the download pages etc, but I could get here, and to google, some US sites worked some didn't, so I just went to bed. I noticed TBB was out of reach too.

I couldn't access most of sites owned by Google, IDnet.net and this forum. I'm sure there was more.

I couldn't access most sites outside of IDNet after midnight, then lost all IDNet sites as well, so went to bed. Couldn't get to sleep so checked periodically, and while other sites returned after a short while, IDNet sites didn't come back for me, until somewhere around 2am.

I temporarily forgot about the maintenance completely until after I'd rebooted the router twice, checked all connections and then it finally dawned!!  :slap: :slap:

Bill

The RSS notification preceded the announcement in the forum here by quite a few hours, it's that sort of thing that makes it very useful.

When it's working, of course :P

For a few minutes there I thought you'd hit it... I've been getting "Server not responding" for the last 5 minutes or so for anything on IDNet, including the forums!

Couldn't even get a ping response :dunno:
