Anyone else having any problems sending to hotmail addresses?

I'm getting this:-

  host mx4.hotmail.com[65.55.92.168] said: 550 SC-001
    (SNT0-MC3-F26) Unfortunately, messages from 212.**.**.*** weren't sent.
Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network
    is on our block list.

A test email to my Hotmail address failed with the same response.

Simon

I've removed your IP address from your post, Sparky, for security reasons, but I note, that's a different IP from which you posted on here from, so I'm not quite sure of that was the 'To' IP that was rejected, or the one from which the message was sent.

It's possible that the IP range has been abused by spammers, and IDNet have added it to their blacklist, but I think you'd need to contact them for further advice on this.

Same here too, Simon, I think they mean part of Idnet's network is on Hotmails blocklist.

Simon,

Sorry about the IP address, but I thought that its was just idnet.com's smtp server's ip ?  Perhaps I'm wrong. But yes, it looks as if Hotmail is blocking mail from IDNET.COM's smtp server.

Just Hotmail performing normally. The only reliable way to get an email TO a Hotmail account is to have one yourself.
