Customers are turning their backs on ISP's that provide poor customer support.

I wonder how long it will take for businesses to realise that the cost of call centres is much higher than they thought? I am sure I'm not the only member here to have moved business, not just from ISPs, because of the poor support delivered by CCs.

Certainly I have Rik, I will not use any business that has either let me down, or has numerous reports of bad service, not restricted to just ISP's of course.

I would sooner pay a few extra quid and buy from a reputable supplier.

Indeed. The businesses that take note of this mood in consumers will stand to do very well. Of course, there will still be people who buy from Tiscali et al "because it's cheap".
