I keep receiving this message when I download my mail.  My mail still arrives so I don't understand the message.

If using Windows live messenger, try running a repair on it.

I use Winmail.  I don't use live messenger.

That's six times the same emails have been downloaded.

I managed to get into my Idnet webmail and cleared most of the rubbish that was on there.  Tried my winmail again and all was OK.  I can only assume it was something to do with Idnet's server.

After deleting all on webmail things worked but today it's the same again.  Winmail keeps downloading the same emails over and over again.  Went back into webmail and cleared them so winmail working again.  It must be something wrong with winmail.

POP3? It could be a quirk of the server end forcing your client to re-download old stuff. If you're going to leave stuff on the server, switch to using IMAP instead.

I use Vista winmail.  In Windows Mail /tools/accounts/each account/properties/servers I have each account set to POP3. In Windows Mail /tools/accounts/each account/properties/advanced I have the tick box 'leave a copy of messages on server' blank. Might be work comparing your settings, Lona.

Just checked Dave, and I haven't it ticked either.  My winmail has been working fine over that last few days. We'll never know what caused this.
