Photo ograniser?

After the decisions to completely change how the Photo App works in Windows 10, and it's inability to auto import photos from memory card (either autorun or a Virus scanner disabling the option), anyone know a better photo organisation program?

A few here to photography etc. What do you use for importing your pictures?

(Not for me obviously, I'd use PS/Gimp/etc, but for people I know, something automated would really help)

Irfanview may do what you want. I'm not sure if it will auto-import photos but it does have a batch processing facility which may be the same thing.

Thanks. Found some work arounds for now. Expecially as they had just got use to the new photo viewer in Win8, just for 10 to have it changed again!
