Kheldar

oh for a decent connection.

i want my cable connection back.

ADSL Link Downstream Upstream
Connection Speed 1376 kbps 448 kbps
Line Attenuation 49 db 15.5 db
Noise Margin 13 db 25 db

one day maybe this country will provide a decent broadband service to everyone.

Rik

That speed for that attenuation is awful, Steve. Assuming you've done all the internal wiring tricks, have a word with support and see if they can do anything.

Kheldar

i prob have not rik.

i just get depressed when i see my conn speed here compared to old house which is like 3/4 miles away.

i must double check all the stuff.

plus we're likely to be moving the study to another room cos this one will very shortly be becoming the nursery !  ;D

so not sure if thats gonna help or not....

DorsetBoy

A baby Kheldar?........Congratulations!!

You won't have time to worry about things like adsl now :beer1: :beer1:

Kheldar

indeed DB.

after a lot of trying, several years, tablets, many hospital visits, an operation (for Rach not me ;) ) etc etc we are having a baby at the end of november.

and we cannot wait.

til now Fifi has been our baby, but as bloody cute and wonderful as she is, she is not quite the same.
