I decided to uninstall Bullguard off my computer and was told to do a reboot. That was 45 mins ago and Windows 10 still has not restarted. Is this normal or is there something wrong?

Not normal. You'll probably need to power off and back on.

Try using 10 bit uninstaller Den.  It's a free download and works well.

Clive

If all else fails boot into safe mode and try a system restore.

Simon

You should also run Bullguard's uninstall tool to remove all traces, or you may have problems with future anti virus products.

It turns out that Windows was updating 9 separate updates and reboot kicked them all in as the same time so hopefully all will be OK but I will keep you posted.  :fingers:

More bloody updates!   :bawl:

After running Kaspersky (Full scan took two hours, but was recommended) my computer runs much faster and is so much better receiving emails.

The last time I purchased Kaspersky I removed it as it did not seem to get on with Windows in my opinion and was persuaded to go to Norton and then Bullguard.

I found Bullguard to be so intrusive and did not like it so I went onto the Computer Active shop, read all the reviews and thought what the hell give it another go (at such a good price) and so far so good as it has improved everything up to now.  ;D

I've been very pleased with it Den and it prevents ransomware too if you go into settings and check the tool is activated.
