Frequent Dos Attacks

While trying to investigate frequent disconnections, examination of my Netgear Router log reveals repeated DoS attacks, all eminating from an ip apparently based in Amsterdam.
These are all being blocked/repelled either by the router or by my  ESET AV/Firewall but should I be doing something, or should IDNet be taking action? This does not appear to be affecting performance as both my AV, Firewall and router software is up to date so its perhaps low priority but I'd like advice if possible.
Sometimes its not a great idea to look at stuff you really don't understand too deeply as you just end up a nervous wreck, but I'm curious. maybe this is all routine stuff that goes on all the time and is automatically blocked.

It happens all the time, Netgear routers tend to be a bit alarmist with logging sometimes, but many people have seen a increase in port scans, if you were having a true DDoS attack you would not be online. Recently Some Netegear routers had a vulnerability and then some Asus routers with certain builds of Asuswrt were being easily hacked too and having username and passwords replaced. Its the background noise of the internet probing and scanning, as long as its being logged you are fine.
