I've just installed this router (using a separate modem) and whilst things are fine for my laptop and an old desktop (including IPv6) my Sky box and TV are unhappy. The TV is complaining about DNS. I ran a benchmarking utility last night that appeared to confirm a problem using my router as a DNS server. I didn't have time to properly investigate but it appears that IPv4 DNS is broken. Presumably machines that support IPv6 can get resolve DNS using the IPv6 server?

Anyway does anyone have any ideas where I should look in the router configuration? I'm not a novice with setting up routers but I know from experience that the Billion devices can be awkward.

As regards how I set the router up:
Night before last I set up virtual server and IPv6 filtering for my mail server. Last night I ran through the configuration wizard.

I had to go to IDNet to ask for help to set up my Billion and they did it remotely.  They really were excellent.

It seems to have sorted itself out. The TV and Sky box have their power cut overnight so I think they somehow got confused. I swapped the router out without powercycling either of them so perhaps they ended up on the same IP address. Unfortunately there's now another issue I have to investigate with IPv6.
