I was such a fan of Acronis

Now it has b*eggared me completely. I down loaded a backup that I had made and previously restored a we while ago. I restored, left it overnight (it takes over 12 hours). In the morning I had a completely corrupted hard drive. I have lost everything, including passwords. I cannot even get Acronis to work. I tried the free trial but that will not allow a restore. So here I sit absolutely frustrated. I would try to recover again from my backup but cannot. Any good ideas would be most gratefully received. Meanwhile I am in limbo!
