Too many public recipients

Today for the first time ever I've seen the message mentioned in this post from five years ago. https://github.com/roundcube/roundcubemail/issues/5924

I've used email for 27 years and I'm perfectly aware of what BCC is. All the recipients know each other well and I was actually replying to a message.

Is that going to keep happening now?

I guess perhaps the email providers are tightening up on spam distribution?  Obviously they don't know that you know all of your recipients.
