Since i've nearly finished my re-wiring job i thought i'll do it all while i'm at it, so i'm mod'ing my firewall rules to make it more secure, is there any good sites that tests your firewall settings?

Shields Up! is usually a pretty good guide.  It will scan your ports, and report any vulnerabilities.

"Your system has achieved a perfect "TruStealth" rating. Not a single packet — solicited or otherwise — was received from your system as a result of our security probing tests. Your system ignored and refused to reply to repeated Pings (ICMP Echo Requests). From the standpoint of the passing probes of any hacker, this machine does not exist on the Internet. Some questionable personal security systems expose their users by attempting to "counter-probe the prober", thus revealing themselves. But your system wisely remained silent in every way. Very nice."

Hey

You will probably need to do full scan but add P0 to the line then agree, for the one below, it is my favorite of the online scanners

The ones below also are pretty good, and offer other types of scanning, i.e. browser leaks, vulnerability testing etc.
