I don't  know if anyone else has mentioned this as I'm away at the moment and can only read once in a while on a sloooooow Dutch cable connection so I háven't read all the new posts.

But... I'm trying to read my email via the web portal and I can't.  Every line that someone has written goes right off the screen with no scroll bar to read it.  I am having to hit the reply or forward button, then hit the back button when it will magically be formatted properly.  Can the powers that be correct this or is it something my end?

This is a peculiar keyboard so apologies for errors.

Sorry I can't confirm this with my pc, webmail displays correctly, what browser are you using?
Damned, if you do damned if you don't

Webmail is fine for me also - IE6 on XP.

I notice they have updated the logo to the new IDNet logo.

So they have. Need to tone the background down though... Fine here too, Firefox.

Checked with IE7 on XP as well, no problems (well I had to check) but I love my Firefox ;D

Oh well.  It's IE7 on XP here too so that's weird.  Maybe just a blip.  Maybe something to do with HTML and how the posts were written.  mail2web.com copes okay so I'll use that instead.  It's also easier to tag and delete on there I've just found out.  Downside is that hitting reply doesn't put in the chevrons but you can't everything it seems.

Thanks guys.

If there's a way to grab some screen shots, Ann, I'm sure IDNet would like to see what's happening. Could it be anything to do with language settings?

My webmail pages dont allow me to Compose owt!  There is no icon on the pages.
There is a hidden icon on the far left of the  icons for address and Preferences etc but it doesnt do anything.
I can recieve mail but cant send any cos theres no facility to do so.  Or am I being particularly thick?

Rik

I haven't see any problems. I attach a screen shot from my Inbox - does yours look like it?

I dont have any of those icons to the right of the IDNet logo.  On any page. Just the ones above and slightly to the right.  The small yellow bar to the right is also greyed out on my screen.

Rik

In that case, you need to talk to support, as they will have to look at your account setup, which I can't do. Sorry. :(

(What browser are you using? You could try creating a new email account, and see if that shows correctly. It might narrow the search...)

Strange that I can login to the other webmail using the "net" link and my 'freemail'address but the page is the old one.

The other webmail .com site does not work for any if the 4 addresses I use.  That is, it doesnt show the icons on the pages, just the folders on the left.

Im using XP and IE6.

I'll do that tomorrow when I get home if it doesn't work on my own computer.  Will revisit this.
