I don't like the sound of that DVD - though there may be some simple explanation for what's happened...

Well, one wouldn't expect a wedding video to arrive packed with malware, but maybe the company have taken steps to avoid it being copied, in the hope that they can charge another £100 per additional DVD.  Even that, I would find unusual, as I would have thought copy protection doesn't come cheap, and what right would they have to copy protect them, assuming that the ownership of the material belongs to the family that was recorded?

DRM is usually a very expensive option, Simon, so like you I'm surprised that it should have been used on a wedding video. Which is why I wonder if they've used something nasty...

The copyright issue is interesting. A mixture of the rights of the creator and those appearing.
