thats the same as my problem !! Join the club. Looks like theres a dodgy batch around. It was suggested earlier in the thread to set up the 2700HG manually and not use the 12 didget code. I'm going to try this evening (at work now). Are you willing to give it a try and see if you get anywhere.

If not is it worth referencing our 'tickets' together with good old Dave to see if we can get to the bottom of this ?

I think its an ADSL firmware issue In, its designed for maybe American networks and has separate firmware to that of the UK, like most routers do who knows, I have a BT one and did a manual setup

OK here are Seb's settings;
DSL Line Selection:  Automatic
VPI: 0
VCI: 38
ATM Encapsulation: Routed VC-Mux
ATM PVC Search: Disabled

Mine were the same other than mine had automatically set the last one to " Enabled " I have now changed that to " Disabled ", no difference yet.

Seems to work for people using the 2700hgv.

I'm not a computer geek but am willing to give it a go.....

Well as long as its not a dual SSID it should be fine, mine is so I cant but mine auto updated anyway to 5.29.107.19 form 5.29.107.12 but I cant say do it as I don't want to be responsible for you bricking it, if you feel its worth it then try after reading that link maybe twice

I reckon that it should be OK, the link came from America from someone that wanted to unlock from AT&T, my latest box has an AT&T Badge on the front of it, it obviously came from the USA, so I may have a go later, nothing to lose really.

ATM circuit Identifier should be VPI 0 VCI 38

and connection type should be PPPoA

How's the line doing, though, In? You do seem to have the same SBC firmware as me.
