Could someone give me some advice i recently changed my Netgear router from a DG834G to a DG834PN mainly because of the extended range ive always used Zone Alarm free, my old router always worked fine after configuration with Zone Alarm but im having problems with my new router its ok for about 5 minutes then it stops me accessing the internet although my router and network are connected etc once i reboot the router its ok again for 5 mins them same happens again, i realised it was Zone Alarm as this doesn't happen if i disable it, i cant for the life of me configure ZA to allow the pc to access the internet at the moment im only using the routers built in firewall , i know its something simple but my brains frazzled lol, ide be grateful for some advice thanking you in advance.

With a Firewall I open any ports that need access to the Internet as and when required.
I haven't used Zone Alarm for years but you can open ports on it.
Try opening your router's IP port - something like 192.168.0.1 and also your static IP address with Idnet.

Hope this helps
