Would this also include Yahoo Mail?
QuoteMicrosoft has offered to buy the search engine company Yahoo for $44.6bn (£22.4bn) in cash and shares. .............

I would have thought they would have a unified mail service as a result, Noreen, I can't see the mail business being viable as a separate entity.

Just leave google alone and we'll be happy

I wouldn't be suprised if Google try to purchase Microsoft at some point!

There's something that we'd have all fallen about at one time - but now stop to think when it might happen. If the move to Windows 7 doesn't get the takeup they need, and if more businesses switch to Linux/Open Office, it could happen within a few years.

No chance!  They would just re-work Linux, call it 'Doors', and be back in business.  >:D

Fair point, Mo. Though that could lead to a version called Open Doors, I guess. :)
