my darn line seems to have hit a road block on speed

but i supose it nice that im getting the same results from the test socket as i get with all the digi boxes pluged in.

Yep, it'll be interleaving. I can't say for definite, but I suspect your line would be fine interleaving off, which would allow you to sync at 8,128 and give you a 7,150 profile. :thumb:

I think he will take at least 2 weeks to contact IDNet to ask for interleaving to be turned off. :P

I suspect you may have traded speed for stability to an extent, Colin. It would be worth plotting a larger number of pings, either with the -n switch, say -n 100, or using Ping Plotter or Pin Graph. If you ran a 24 hour test to IDNet with the latter, then let support have the results, they could look at what is happening.

No, the variation in pings wouldn't be affected by the profile but could be being affected by packet loss.

By comparison, mine are in a tighter group:
