Ordered parts today from www.specialtech.co.uk , what a helpful lot! I recommend you go there for all your pc parts. They even ordered stuff in for me! You can also get 10% off for getting involved in the www.overclock3d.net forums (you need a certain amount of posts though).

I'll update you once i've built it, hoping nothing blows up  :-X :-X :o

And all that just to play the word games :) hehehe

Seriously its goin to be a real nice set up and im sure your friends going to be happy aswell

I havent used any of the connect 3d cards and am just wondering what they are like because they always seem to be at good prices

Nerval

Nice setup.  Let us know what you get in the benchmarks for it (though I've only run 3DMark03 on mine).

Love the black case - I got a coolermaster black one looks very similar, and I just love the blue lights on it.   :jawdrop:

mrapoc

The case is very...sexual  :P :D ;D
Loving the aluminium buttons and blue lights

I do believe msot card manufacturers are the same - The simple rule I've been told is go for the cheapest one in the model you want (cheapest x1900gt for example) because the only difference is the bundle (free games, which aren't really up to standard anymore) and factory overclocking (just do it yourself ) and perhaps warranty and aftermarket coolers

stevie0573

just wondering how the pc is going?

Nerval

Even if it don't go, the buttons and lights are brilliant.

I wonder if he's run any benchmarks on it yet? :police:

stevie0573

mmmmmmmmmm flashy lights :)

mrapoc

well, it working :) and im gaming on it (been able to run every game so far flat out no issues) prey, doom 3, medieval 2 total war and many others seem to like it...gonna be overclocking soon  :P i too love the flashy lights

stevie0573

Glad to hear that m8 i wouldnt think you will have much problem with games for ages yet. Im always scared of overclocking mainly because i dont really know how to do it properly (altho theres some great guides out there) but when i have tried it i really havent noticed much difference, still lets us know how that goes m8.
