i might buy a sky+ box for upstairs and put the new model downstairs. see if that helps.

You do need an additional cable from the dish/LNB to access the facilities of Sky +, that is assuming that you already have a quad LNB.

its all money thou. everything is breaking this month. oh i hate april's.

spent loads this month on replacing things.

had to get a new hd tv.
ipod has broke
dvd player has broke
this pc is playing up
mobile is having its days aswell

Not sure, I don't subscribe to Sky, I just know how it works.

They will almost certainly make a charge for the additional cable, and possibly the upgraded Sky + Receiver.

Best option is to threaten to cancel, they will put you through to cancellation department, they may be more flexible.

If you don't have Sky+ already in the room, then there will be an extra cable run required. As In says, if you are out of contract, a threat to cancel may work, but be prepared to follow it through, they've got wise to people using this to get a deal, and sometimes they don't play ball.

The second cable is for the second tuner in a Sky+ box.
