GMS Professional Webmail

I've been trying to get the GMS Professional Webmail to work on OS X. tried Safari 2.0.4, Mac IE5.2 (the last version available for Macs) and Firefox 2 but all i get is browser not supported, unless i spoof the user-agents to make it think their running MS IE6 then it works fine. So just wondering is there any particular reason these browsers are not accepted, and is there a Mac browser that will work without spoofing the user-agent or is it just plain anti-Mac
