Cheers, it updated for me automatically this morning. 90.90 MB on Windows, that seems more than a little excessive!

They are not updates really are they? Its a complete replacement. The whole iTunes 10.1 .dmg file for the Mac is 96Mb via software update it was about 60Mb

Launches faster on my Mac, also backs up my iPhone faster now and album art appears faster it seems.

What really bugs me, though, is that if it follows its normal pattern, it will change great chunks of the library, so I'll be in for a long backup tonight.

I'm slightly different my music is on an external hard drive(firewire 800) which is backed up completely separately to another external firewire drive. The iTunes database/library is on the internal harddrive and backed up with the rest of the drive.
