I always uninstall using the tool from Adobe, then install new one, Adobe I'm sure recommend to uninstall reboot and install, but that may just be for Macs...who knows I really cant be bothered to go back and read it  :P

All it's doing is anoying the authors who write add-ons. For example, the guy who writes 'sitelauncher', which IMHO is quite useful, hasn't bothered updating it to work with V5. It can be modified but some of the functionality is missing.

There are now so many Beta testers available that Firefox has changed it's development process to give a fixed 6 week cycle and those of us using Aurora are now testing what will become Firefox 7.
