I find I get a Java Console incompatibility on installing FF 2.0.0.5, as I did on v 2.0.0.4. It doesn't seem to create any problems though.

Mine automatically updated, but then stalled on restart, and subsequently wouldn't connect.  Had to re-allow it in software firewall and reboot to get it to connect again.  All fine now.

Hi All

On seeing this post I thought this application may save a lot of time and effort for some of you, it's in beta, but does work dam well, have been using if for a while. It's called
secunia personal software inspector.

Some blurb from the site

The Secunia PSI detects installed software and categorises your software as either Insecure, End-of-Life, or Up-To-Date. Effectively enabling you to focus your attention on software installations where more secure versions are available from the vendors.

Available here FREE ;)
