Just read on my American forum of several people having this problem with the new version of IrfanView, I haven't installed it yet myself. Most forum members seem to be reverting to the previous version until it's sorted out.

If anybody here is having troubles with the Left-Right Arrows, you're not alone. For some reason the Left & Right Arrows on the Tool-bar won't work properly when Browsing through a Folder with Numerically sequenced Image Files, (ex. Clipboard01.jpg, Clipboard02.jpg, Clipboard03.jpg, ... etc.)

If I Click on the Right Arrow to go to the next File up from Clipboard01 to Clipboard02, it won't budge, but if I Click on the Left Arrow I can go in the Down direction and start from the "Top" of the order.

All appropriate Settings were Set in the Options > Properties/Settings > Misc.1.

I spent all morning trying to figure his out. Finally, I Re-Installed the Previous Version and it works like a Charm.

Edit: The Left & Right Arrows still work OK on the Keyboard.

Don't know about anyone else but I've now installed the NOD32 update after reading good reports on Wilders, people are saying that it's faster.

Running well here Noreen and it does feel faster browsing as well   I had to change from Kaspersky as it just causes endless bluescreens on 64bit systems which for me is a shame as it was fine on 32 bit not what i needed, but Eset is running well here

Note that the .exe (& presumably the .msi) will attempt to install toolbars & things like that. If you do not want them, deselect them on install (or use the .zip version instead).

Also note that installation gives the impression that Typewriter will not work if the toolbar is not installed. That is not the case. Typewriter will work, it is just that if the document is saved it will contain watermarks (with the free version of the reader).

Yes you do, but just watch it very carefully. There's quite a few tick boxes throughout the setup process that you'll want to untick!

Additional toolbars are the bain of my life, they cause no end of grief, especially when people install multiple toolbars.
